European Statistics

Direct selling is a large and growing sector within the non-store retail trade in Europe. Direct sales volume shows a constant growth over the last five years. Over 6 million people are engaged in direct selling in European Union, a figure that goes up over 14 million for the whole European continent. Direct selling companies offer in Europe permanent employment to over 25,000 people and 76% of the products they sell are manufactured in Europe.

Statistics in the World 

Direct selling is now a worldwide distribution channel, as shown by the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) figures since 2009. The 2015 figures published reported a 7.7% increase in global direct sales in 2015, to US $ 183,7 billion (in constant 2015 USD).
